Key Personnel
Niklas has
been with Light Structures since August 2016. He has
more than 15 years of experience from the offshore
and petrochemical industry. Prior to joining Light
Structures he has held a number of management
positions, the latest as Senior Manager in National
Oilwell Varco where he managed and lead highly
skilled managers, software engineers, hardware
engineers and product engineers. He holds a Bachelor
of Science in Advanced Automation Technology and
numerous of management and leadership certificates
such as MSc (Management Science and Engineering),
LSE (Leadership for Strategic Execution), PMP
(Project Management Professional), SDRM (Strategic
Decision and Risk Management). With work experience
from Singapore / USA / Portugal / Sweden and Oslo,
Niklas has an extensive network all over the world.

Geir is a co-founder of Light Structures AS and
has held the position of Managing Director from
2001-2003 and 2008-2010 and Director of Technology
2004-2008 and 2010-. Before starting Light
Structures, Geir worked as a scientist and project
manager at the Norwegian Defense Research
Establishment in projects that developed Fiber
Bragg Grating hull stress monitoring systems. Geir
holds a Dr. Philos. in Physics from the University
of Oslo.

Karianne is
a co-founder of Light Structures AS and has held the
position of Director of Technology 2001-2003,
Managing Director from 2004-2008 and Project
Director 2010-2014. Before starting Light
Structures, Karianne worked as a scientist at the
Norwegian Defense Research Establishment in projects
that developed Fiber Bragg Grating sensors and hull
stress monitoring systems. She holds a Master of
Science (siv.ing.) degree in Engineering Physics

Arnstein
started as Executive Vice President Sales in Light
Structures AS August 2017. He has been involved in
international management, sales and business
development in the maritime industry for more than
20 years, and has held a number of different
management positions in several companies during
these years. Prior to joining Light Structures, he
was CEO in TECO Maritime group, where he was also
holding the Managing Director role for several
daughter companies located in different countries.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
and Business Administration from Agder University,
faculty of Engineering & Technology and has an
